2700 block of Ridgepine Drive in La Crescenta, a black duffle bag was stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

4700 block of La Crescenta Avenue in La Crescenta, several power tools were stolen and a window was shattered in vehicle. Also the front door of a residence had been knocked open. The home was under repairs from damage from an fire. The resident reported a chop saw was stolen from inside the home. Both incidents occurred between March 10-12.

March 9
4600 block of Indiana Avenue in La Cañada, an iPad and Apple stylus were stolen from a locked vehicle between March 5-9.

March 7
1500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, patio furniture was stolen from a business’ rear patio overnight.

5100 block of Jessen Drive in La Cañada, two men, one 25 years old and one 26, both from Los Angeles, and a 25-year-old man from Yucca Valley, were arrested after a routine traffic stop. A deputy initially stopped the vehicle due to the driver’s failure to stop at a stop sign. The deputy found the driver did not have a driver’s license in his possession. Further investigation found the driver had warrants for his arrest and was on active probation for robbery. A search of his vehicle found apparent narcotics; in addition the deputy found vehicle keys belonging to apparent rental vehicles and expired rental agreements. The deputy also found a window punch tool, two rings and five necklaces in the suspects’ possession. The three men were arrested for being in possession of burglary tools and reasonable cause arrest for burglary at 8 p.m.

March 5
4800 block of Hill Street in La Cañada, a resident reported finding his unlocked vehicle had been ransacked. He noticed that the garage door opener that was in his vehicle had been moved. His wife had earlier found the door to their garage slightly ajar. Nothing was reported missing. The incident occurred overnight.

1300 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a door to a business was vandalized with graffiti scratched into an office door between Feb. 29 and March 5.

March 2
1200 block of Flanders Road in La Cañada, a mailbox was vandalized between March 2-4.
