Feb. 14

2000 block of Mariners View Lane in La Cañada, a person reported witnessing two male suspects exit a grey, four-door vehicle and jump a neighbor’s backyard fence. A short time later he witnessed the suspects run back to the vehicle and drive away. The resident of the home received a notice that the motion sensor alarm on a window in his home had been activated. Surveillance footage showed one male suspect, wearing a black shirt and black pants, and a second suspect, wearing a light color shirt and dark pants, on the property.

The attempted burglary occurred at 8:48 a.m.

 

 

Feb. 10

4900 block of Rosemont Avenue in La Crescenta, a resident received a notice from Amazon that a package had been delivered to his house; however, when he went home it appeared to have been stolen.

The theft occurred between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

 

 

Feb. 6

3700 block of Chevy Chase Drive in La Cañada, several appliances that were stored in a garage were stolen between Feb. 6-13.

 

 

Feb. 5

3000 block of Community Avenue in La Crescenta, a vehicle was vandalized with scratches on numerous areas of the body of the car. The vandalism occurred between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. 

 

 

Feb. 9

3000 block of Henrietta Avenue in La Crescenta, personal information was stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

 

900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a suspect, described as a male white, about 5’ 8” tall and weighing about 160 lbs., wearing a blue zip-up jacket, blue jeans and black shoes, entered the store, put several items in his cart and left the store without paying at 4:05 p.m.

 

800 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, two suspects entered a store and stole several cellphones.

 

Suspect No. 1 was described as a male Hispanic, 6’ tall, weighing 200 lbs. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, white shoes and black gloves. Suspect No. 2 was described as a male Hispanic, 6’ tall, 200 lbs., wearing black pants, black shoes, black Raiders baseball cap and a black and red hooded sweatshirt.

The theft occurred at 6:28 p.m.

 

 

Feb. 7

3000 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, two suspects entered a store, placed items in a bag and proceeded to the front checkout counters. They left the store without attempting to pay. The only description of the suspects was a male black and female black.

The theft occurred at 8:20 p.m.

 

3900 block of Durham Place in La Cañada, residents reported that, as they were in the basement watching a movie, their home was burglarized. When the movie ended they came upstairs to find several rooms had been ransacked and a bedroom window was shattered.

The residential burglary was reported at 11 p.m.

 

 

Feb. 5

4400 block of Oak Grove Avenue in La Cañada, a girl reported that she left her backpack in the cafeteria area of La Cañada High School and went to the restroom. When she returned she discovered the exterior zipper of her backpack was open and her wallet was missing.

The theft occurred between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
