5800 block of Briartree Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, a resident left his home and when he returned he found the rear sliding glass door had been shattered, several rooms had been ransacked and items were stolen between 6 a.m. and 6:45 p.m.

Feb. 5

Community and La Crescenta avenues in La Crescenta, a tailgate from a Toyota Tacoma was stolen overnight. 

5700 block of Summit Crest Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, deputies responded to a call stating that a male adult, wearing all black, was in the backyard of a home. The call was then updated that the male had gotten into a white Kia with no plates and drove toward Angeles Crest Highway. When deputies arrived at the residence the informant told them that she saw three males on her surveillance footage. They entered her property from a side gate. The footage revealed that Suspect No. 1 disconnected and broke two exterior cameras that were at the residence. Deputies found the sliding glass door in the master bedroom had been shattered. A revolver and jewelry were stolen at 12:40 p.m.

Mary Street and La Crescenta Avenue in La Crescenta, a tailgate was stole from a Toyota Tacoma overnight. 

2700 block of Mary Street in Montrose, a tailgate was stolen from a Toyota Tacoma overnight. 

900 block of Town Center Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, deputies responded to a call concerning an assault with a deadly weapon. An informant stated he was walking in the lower lot of the parking lot when he started to stomp his feet on the floor to get the water off of his shoes. A male suspect yelled at the informant. He was described as 20-to-25 years old, White or Armenian, 5’11” tall, 120 to 140 lbs. with brown hair and brown facial hair wearing a black short sleeve shirt, black pants and carrying a black fanny pack across his right shoulder. The informant walked to his vehicle and sat in the driver’s seat. The suspect stood outside the window of the informant’s vehicle and pulled out from his fanny pack a dark gray semi-automatic handgun. The suspect pointed and tapped the muzzle of the gun on the driver’s side window. The informant became scared and yelled at the suspect. The suspect then walked southbound out of view at 7:50 p.m.

2200 block of Montrose Avenue in Montrose, rooms in a home had been ransacked and several items were stolen. It appeared forced entry was made through the front wooden door of the residence. 

The burglary occurred between 5:55 p.m. and 6:03 p.m.
