Final Skate Park Meeting Planned
The County of Los Angeles Dept. of Parks & Recreation invites the public to the third of three community design workshops for the new skate park at Crescenta Valley Community Regional Park.

Design workshop and presentation No. 3 will take place on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. at the Crescenta Valley Park community building at 3901 Dunsmore Ave. in La Crescenta.

Rosemont Preserve Open Gate Afternoon
The public is invited to spend the afternoon at the Rosemont Preserve on Sunday, Feb. 16 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. This is a chance to visit the Preserve and wander the trail and discover the beautiful wilderness area in the Crescenta Valley community. Friends of the Rosemont Preserve members will be available to answer questions and show the community resource that has been worked so hard to protect and develop.

Everyone is welcome! Those who plan on attending should wear sturdy shoes.

The Preserve is located at the north end of Rosemont Avenue, just past the chain link fence. As street parking is limited, it is recommended to park at Two Strike Park at 5107 Rosemont Ave. in La Crescenta.

Fundraiser for Crescenta Commons
A fundraiser is being held for the Crescenta Commons, the Eagle project of Rhys Teff. It’s taking place at Joselitos Restaurant in Montrose on Wednesday, Feb. 19 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Proceeds will go towards the revitalization of the corner at Rosemont and Orange avenues where the Crescenta Commons will be established.

Please make sure to drop your itemized receipt into the Crescenta Commons fundraiser box at the front desk. Receipt is needed for fundraising credit.
