Feb. 9

3100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, an employee of Angus Beef reported that four female suspects entered the store in the front door. The first suspect asked to use the restroom. As she went toward the restroom the other three suspects kept the employee busy by asking her a number of questions. The first suspect returned from the restroom and left the area, along with the other suspects. It was later that the employee discovered her purse that was on a table in the back of the store had been stolen. The incident occurred at 2:56 p.m.

Feb. 8

4300 block of Ocean View Boulevard in Montrose, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle between Feb. 6 and Feb. 8.

2700 block of Mary Street in La Crescenta, a La Crescenta woman was arrested for reportedly violating a restraining order at
4:52 p.m.

Feb. 4

2500 block of Harmony Place in La Crescenta, a briefcase and cash were stolen from a garage between Dec. 8 and Feb. 2.

1300 block of Green Lane in La Cañada Flintridge, a man was arrested after he allegedly violated a restraining order.

3000  block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, an employee at OSH (Orchard Supply Hardware) reported that at about 7 a.m. a man entered the store. Shortly after that another man entered. The first man exited the store, got into a full size Chevrolet or GMC truck and moved it to the front entrance of the store. Another employee reported she had received information of suspicious behavior on the first level of the store. She reportedly witnessed the second man walk up the stairs carrying copper tubing. He walked out the door without attempting to pay and got into the waiting vehicle driven by the first man and drove away at 7:23 a.m.
