On Jan. 23, Glendale police officers responded to the 1500 block of Parkway Drive to investigate a reported residential burglary. While Glendale officers conducted their investigation, officers from the Burbank Police Dept. stopped a car with a fraudulent temporary California license plate. In that car Burbank officers found jewelry, expensive handbags and cash. They also discovered multiple cellphones, masks, gloves and additional license plates not belonging to the car.
A Burbank officer who had been monitoring the Glendale Police Dept.’s radio frequency earlier and had heard the residential burglary call go out contacted Glendale officers who confirmed that the property in the vehicle was stolen in the burglary.
Subsequently, officers arrested the vehicle’s three occupants for residential burglary. All arrestees are foreign nationals. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office charged all three with burglary.
