Feb. 1

4400 block of Ocean View Boulevard in Montrose, a person reported that a tool box had been stolen from his assigned parking space at his apartment between 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. 

900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, deputies responded to a report of a purse stolen from a restaurant. Security footage revealed: Suspect No. 1, described as a White male with a beard, wearing a black baseball cap, black long sleeve shirt and black jeans. Suspect No. 2 is described as a White female wearing a black baseball cap, a white long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, black “Nike” shoes with a brown purse. Suspect No. 3 was described as a White female wearing a black baseball cap, black puffer coat, blue jeans with a black purse.

Suspect No. 1 approached the victim’s chair where her purse was hanging by the strap behind her. It appeared that Suspect No. 1 moved the purse strap toward the right edge of the chair. Suspect No. 2 then walked behind Suspect No. 1 and grabbed the purse. Suspect No. 3 followed Suspect No. 2, apparently acting as a lookout by scanning the area. All three suspects then turned and walked out of the restaurant heading for the parking lot and out of view. The victim reported that while she was dining with her family her purse was stolen. She was able to track her cellphone and located her purse in a trash bin outside a nearby restaurant. 

The theft occurred at 6:27 p.m.

Jan. 30

1100 block of Green Lane in La Cañada Flintridge, a resident returned home to find a blanket, which had been inside her residence when she left, was now outside her home. She immediately contacted deputies who responded. Her home had been burglarized. Entry by suspect/suspects was the rear glass door, which was shattered. Several items were reported stolen. 

The burglary occurred between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Jan. 29

4400 block of Woodleigh Lane in La Cañada Flintridge, a woman received a notification from her security system of an issue, then her power was turned off. Deputies responded and found the rear-facing window had been smashed. Two of the bedroom doors appeared to have been kicked open, which was odd becauseit neither were locked. It did not appear anything was stolen. 

The burglary occurred between 7 p.m. and 7:38 p.m.
