2200 block of Waltonia Drive in Montrose, a person reported that he had a package stolen from his front porch. Surveillance footage revealed a black SUV-type vehicle parked in front of the victim’s residence. A female, described as White, in her 30s with red hair and wearing a gray sweater and black pants, exited the vehicle. She walked to the front porch and grabbed the packages, walked back to her vehicle and drove away at 11:36 a.m.

 

Jan. 17

200 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a deputy responded to burglar alarm and observed the front glass door to the neighboring business had been shattered. The deputy also found a large hole in the drywall that connected the two businesses. Other deputies arrived and they found the business had been ransacked. Nothing was reported stolen at the time.

The business burglary occurred between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m.

 

Jan. 14

3000 block of Altura Avenue in La Crescenta, residents returned home and found the window of the master bedroom had been smashed and jewelry was stolen from the residence between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.

4500 block of Briggs Avenue in Montrose, a resident reported that the catalytic converter on his vehicle had been stolen overnight.
