The Glendale Unified School District sent out a ConnectEd call to Crescenta Valley parents with children in elementary schools and Rosemont Middle School.

The ConnectED stated:

“The GUSD has received concerns about a suspicious man in a white pickup truck in the La Crescenta area trying to talk to students on their way home from school. The (Los Angeles County) sheriffs and Glendale police are investigating.

“Out of an abundance of caution, please discuss with your students and remind them to be mindful of their environment, especially when they are not with a parent or an adult they know and trust.

Encourage your students to have local law enforcement station number programmed into his/her cell phone for rapid assistance if needed: Crescenta Valley Sherriff Station (818) 248-3464.”
