Jan. 8

200 block of Baptiste Way in La Cañada Flintridge, a suspect, possibly a juvenile or young adult, entered a garage and attempted to break through a door leading to the residence but was unsuccessful. The suspect then went to the back door but was unable to gain entrance to the home. Nothing was reported stolen from the garage.


The burglary occurred at 4:20 a.m.

 

Jan. 6

3500 block of Big Tujunga Canyon Road in Angeles National Forest, a resident was standing outside the front of his home when he heard the sound of a rock hitting the hood of his vehicle. It appeared the rock had been come from the nearby road. He ran up the hillside and saw two groups of hikers but was unsure if they had thrown the rock.


The vandalism occurred at 9:10 a.m.

 

Jan. 5

500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, three men entered a cellphone store, walked to a cellphone display and began to hit the display case with hammers to get the phones. They grabbed numerous phones and fled from the store.


The thefts occurred at 6:30 p.m.

 

2600 block of Prospect Avenue in Montrose, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle overnight.

 

Jan. 4

Angeles Crest Highway, mile marker 34.09 in Angeles National Forest, the driver’s side of a vehicle’s door lock had been “punched” and a backpack with personal items was stolen between 10:15 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.

 

Angeles Crest Highway, mile marker 34.19, Angeles National Forest, the driver’s side of a vehicle’s door lock had been “punched’ and personal items were stolen from a vehicle between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

 

Jan. 3

4400 block of Cornishon Avenue in La Cañada Flintridge, a suspect/suspects entered a school through an unsecured roll gate at the school’s snack shop and stole cash overnight.

 

Jan. 2

 4600 block of Hampton Road in La Cañada Flintridge, a resident saw on her security cameras at her home a woman walk up to her front porch and take the newspaper [Pasadena Star News] that had been delivered. The woman was described as white, wearing black prescription glasses, a white long sleeved shirt and white sweat pants. The woman had been seen taking the paper several times in the past as well.

The theft occurred at 5:45 a.m.

 

Dec. 26

4500 block of Ramsdell Avenue in La Crescenta, the doorbell to an apartment was vandalized and broken between Dec. 26-29.
