2500 block of Montrose Avenue in Montrose, the passenger side door was damaged and a global positioning system was stolen from a vehicle overnight.

Jan. 4
2200 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, when an employee returned to his business he found the front door window had been broken. Cash was discovered missing from the cash register. Video surveillance showed a suspect, wearing a mask and gloves, throwing an object at the front door. The burglary occurred at 4:24 a.m.
2200 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the glass front door of a window was smashed and cash was stolen from the cash register at 4:22 a.m.
4300 block of Commonwealth Avenue in La Cañada, passports, jewelry, cash and a gun were stolen and the master bedroom glass window was smashed between 8 a.m. and 8:13 p.m.

Jan. 3
4300 block of Commonwealth Avenue in La Cañada, a person described as a male Hispanic wearing a red T-shirt walked onto the property, grabbed a weed-whacker that belonged to the gardener and walked off the lawn. A witness saw the suspect get into the cab of a white 2014-17 Chevy Silverado crew cab truck and drive away at 4:15 p.m.
400 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, deputies responded to an alarm at a business. They found the front door was locked but the glass had been smashed. The front lobby was in disarray and the cash register drawer had been pulled from the register.

Jan. 2
500 block of Georgian Road in La Cañada, deputies responded to a call of a possible residential burglary at a home. When they arrived they found the glass door that led to the master bedroom had been smashed. Several rooms had been ransacked; nothing was reported stolen at the time.
The burglary occurred between 9:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

5000 block of Crown Avenue in La Cañada, a tire on a vehicle was slashed overnight.
