The City of La Cañada Flintridge has completed improvements to the Caltrans overpass parking lot of Foothill Boulevard across form Memorial Park. The lot will reopen this Saturday in time to welcome back the Farmers Market.

Improvements to the lot include re-paving, enhanced parking layout, replacement of the chain link fencing with lighted iron and stone barriers abutting Foothill Boulevard, and a drought tolerant landscape to help conserve water. Enhanced design components such as the new trash enclosure area and refurbished light fixtures will make the space more welcoming for Farmers Market patrons.

For years, this lot has been the home of the Farmers Market and the city is pleased to welcome vendors and patrons back.

The La Cañada Chamber of Commerce sponsors this European-style Farmers Market every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market boasts vendors from all over the region with fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, baked goods, flowers and much more.
