The Los Angeles County Dept. of Public Health (Public Health) confirmed 258 new deaths and 11,841 new cases of COVID-19 as of Wednesday. As of Jan. 6, Public Health identified 852,165 positive cases of COVID-19 across all areas of LA County and a total of 11,328 deaths.

The City of Glendale reports 12,316 cases, La Cañada Flintridge 523 cases, Sunland 1,497 cases, Tujunga 1,786 cases and in the unincorporated portion of Los Angeles County, Angeles National Forest reports 19 cases and La Crescenta-Montrose reports 669 cases.
