*UPDATE*LASD Death Investigation, Mile Marker 4.88, Big Tujunga Canyon Rd, Angeles National Forest
Homicide detectives have learned that Crescenta Valley Station deputies responded to a “car fire” call at the location. Upon deputies arriving, the deputies located a vehicle fully engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished by Los Angeles County Fire Dept. personnel. Once the vehicle fire was extinguished, a deceased male was located inside. Based on physical evidence found at the location, Homicide detectives believe the victim was murdered.
There is no additional information at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
