Dec. 27

600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a suspect described as an older white male dressed in black clothing entered a store and walked directly over to the women’s purse display. He was observed on closed circuit television cutting a security cord, taking four purses from the display and leaving the store without attempting to pay. Once he was outside the store he entered a pickup truck and drove away at a high rate of speed.

The theft occurred at 6:52 p.m.

 

Dec. 25

Islip Saddle in Angeles National Forest, the rear passenger window of a vehicle was shattered and several items were stolen between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

 

Dec. 24

500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the rear driver’s side door of a vehicle was scratched between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.

 

Dec. 23

2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, an employee of Ralph’s market reported witnessing a suspect, described as a black man wearing all green clothing, placing several bottles of liquor in a shopping cart. The man then walked through the store and placed the bottles into a black plastic handheld basket, which was then placed inside the shopping cart. The suspect walked out of the store without attempting to pay. The employee reported witnessing the suspect take the bottles out of the cart once he was out of the store and run from the area. The employee gave chase and recovered the stolen items that were left behind by the suspect.

The theft occurred at 7 p.m.

1100 block of Salisbury Road in La Cañada, two briefcases, a wireless hearing aid, clothing and a Bible were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

 

Dec. 18

Commonwealth and Berkshire avenues in La Cañada, a vehicle apparently struck and damaged a road sign and an electrical vault vent at the location overnight.
