ALF Teens Registration is Open

Action League of the Foothills provides volunteer opportunities for students in grades eight through 12 through the ALF Teens program. ALF Teens was established in 1967 and since then individuals and organizations have greatly benefited from the charitable endeavors of this student committee. The goals for students are to develop a sense of personal responsibility, self-reliance, public speaking, leadership skills and to learn the importance of contributing their time to the community.

ALF Teens meet one day a month during the school year to work on a variety of collaborative projects with special opportunities offered over the course of the season. ALF Teens also staff the Bargain Box Thrift Shop on the second Saturday of the month, working side-by-side with ALF members to raise funds for the League’s philanthropic programs.

The 2026-27 season of ALF Teens begins Aug. 24 and continues through May 2027.  Meetings are held in the Action League of the Foothills meeting room at 4607 Oakwood Ave. in La Cañada Flintridge. Students from the nearby foothill communities are encouraged to sign up for this rewarding volunteer experience.

Online registration is now available through the ALF website at ALFoothills.org or call (818) 790-2211 with any questions.
