La Cañada High School 2018 graduate Elizabeth Gonzales was awarded the Italian Catholic Federation Scholarship at an award presentation held during the Branch 374 general meeting. Prior to attending LCHS, Gonzales was a student at Palm Crest School.
The awards are provided by ICF throughout the country at its various branches. Branch 374 resides at St. Bede the Venerable Roman Catholic Church in La Cañada Flintridge. Gonzales will be attending California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks in the fall where she plans to major in computer sciences with an emphasis on biology. She enjoys filmmaking and writing.
