Principal Stegman Honored

PTA members join Principal Karen Stegman, her husband Scott, along with Dr. Mary Mason, Interim Superintendent Dr. Kelly King and Glendale PTA Council President Mona Johnson

On May 31, the Dunsmore Elementary School staff, students and community honored Principal Karen Stegman for 10 years of service as principal. The student council presented her with flowers and the staff gave her a shout-out with a poem as administrative secretary, Christine Giannamore, presented her with a gift on behalf of the school.

Stegman’s husband Scott also made an appearance and surprised her. The PTA honored Stegman with the Outstanding Administrative Award.

In attendance from the District and the PTA included Dr. Kelly King, Dr. Mary Mason, executive director of Elementary Services, and Mona Johnson, PTA Council president.
