Dunsmore Parents Honored

The gift to the school by the sixth grade classes were painted handball court walls.

Dunsmore Elementary School sixth grade parent volunteers Adrianne Allen and Hannah Greenberg were awarded the Character and Ethics Award on May 16 during the school board’s community awards ceremony. Both parents demonstrated a commitment to the guiding principles of cooperation, citizenship and compassion as they worked together to paint the handball court walls at Dunsmore. The painted court walls will be gifted to the school on behalf of the 2018-19 sixth grade classes.

These parents were recognized for not only displaying a high quality of character and ethics in beautifying Dunsmore, but they also went above and beyond by inviting the students to participate as well. The sixth grade students contributed to the wall by drawing what they believe the future holds for them.
