Clark Magnet High Graduates Seniors

Commencement at La Crescenta’s Clark Magnet High School went off without a hitch as Class of 2025 seniors marched across an improvised stage to receive their diplomas on Wednesday, June 11. Handing out those precious diplomas were Clark Principal Mark Rubio, GUSD Superintendent Dr. Darneika Watson and GUSD Board Member Kathleen Cross.   

Senior class president Eduard Tunyan welcomed an audience of more than 200 parents and friends followed with the posting of the colors by the Air Force JROTC of Crescenta Valley High School. Clark Principal Mark Rubio introduced his remarks by announcing that Clark is ranked in the top 1% of the nation’s high schools.

“Put both feet forward in all that you do.” Those were the words of Natalie Hovhannisyan, one of three students who gave senior addresses. The remarks of Talia Zadourian and Anahit Karapetyan followed.  

Principal Rubio gave his closing remarks to the graduates: “Scale great heights. Once a panther (the school’s mascot), always a panther.”

Graduates say goodbye to their years at Clark Magnet High School. 
Clark Magnet Secretary Marine Avakyan grabbed balloons before the ceremony, reminding students that balloons were not allowed since they obscured sight lines.
