Local Moose Lodge #641 presented a check for $1,000 to the Crescenta Valley Instrumental Music Dept. on May 30 for the repair of instruments. This was the first time the Moose presented check to the CVIM.

“We heard [there was a need] and we said, ‘Well, we can help them out, so that’s why we donated to them,” said Moose #641 member Chuck Hughes (in photo at right next to CVIM director Matthew Schick, Elijah Bursch, who is in jazz band and symphony orchestra, and Darcy Ireland, who is in jazz band).
