Prom Plus was held on Saturday at the Crescenta Cañada YMCA from 10:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. Although Prom Plus has been hosting this after-prom party for 31 years for Crescenta Valley High School seniors and their guests, this was the first time the newly elected Prom Plus board was at the helm. It was a success with students enjoying tables full of food, most had been donated by local businesses, a gaming video truck, miniature golfing, a casino room and much, much more.

There was plenty of food for the attendees, donated by local businesses.
Skeeball was a new addition to the games at Prom Plus.
Seniors had opportunity drawing tickets to vye for a variety of prizes.

Prom Plus began after the murder of a CVHS senior Berlyn Cosman in 1991 at an unsupervised after-prom party. A group of parents and community members gathered and formed Prom Plus as a supervised after-prom party for students. It’s motto is “Saving Lives One Prom at a Time.”
