In addition, she played volleyball and was on a Division 1 championship team. She is the recipient of the 2021 Scholastic Art and Writing arts award for the western region as well as a finalist for the California Streaming Photography contest.

Nicole Bednar

, graduate of Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, is currently attending Pasadena City College. Bednar describes herself as authentic, self-aware and committed to serving her community. She demonstrates this through involvement in her church (St. Bede Confirmation Program and Christians in Action) and community (La Cañada Tournament of Roses Association), as well as multiple extra-curricular activities including a part-time job in a hair salon, athletics (volleyball) and the urban dance team. She has been able to maintain a near perfect GPA.
