The community is invited to join the CV Falcons baseball team at Stengel Field on Friday, Feb. 13, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This is an opportunity for kids ages 9-14 years old to get high school level instruction from the coaching staff at CV High School. Kids will get to hit and play on the big field at night under the lights. The cost is $20.

Stengel Field is located across the street from Glendale Community College in Glendale.

PTSA Honorary Service Awards

The Crescenta Valley High School Parent/Teacher/Student Assn. is seeking nominations for the annual Honorary Service Awards. Do you know an outstanding teacher or administrator or a very special person who has devoted time to helping youth in our community? CVHS PTSA will give out their Honorary Service Awards at the annual Founders Day celebration on March 2. Nominations can be submitted to the PTA mailbox located in the CVHS teachers’ lounge. All nominations are due no later than Thursday, Jan. 29.
