Liza Boubari’s ninth annual 3E Event is on Saturday, Sept. 30 at the Glendale Embassy Suites, 330 Arden Ave. in Suite 103. It’s an all-day event, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. that showcases a range of inspirational speakers and wellness activities, all focusing on the theme “Awaken The Power Within.” According to its website, “The 3E Mission is an impactful, uplifting and expressive event – bringing awareness, education, expertise, resources and a sense of community to all who attend.”

Boubari was inspired to start these gatherings because she saw there were no women-led and women-focused seminars in the area.

“We never had a woman bringing all this in our community,” she said.

Though the event is still thriving, this year will be its last. Boubari thought that ending on year “9” would make the most sense, since in numerology “9” is the number of birthing and completion. Instead of one big annual event, she’ll be facilitating smaller wellness retreats throughout the year.

Boubari has been a licensed clinical hypnotherapist for over 20 years along with founding the 3E Event and HealWithin, a healing center, and HealWithin Kids, a non-profit helping motherless children.

“Hypnotherapy became a gateway for me to touch many lives,” she said. “I thrive on making a global impact towards living purposefully.” Tickets are currently available through the event website, www.the3eevent.com. On Saturday, registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by a drum circle, various healing exercises, guided visualizations and a hypnosis demonstration. There will be several speakers throughout the day, including Emmy Award-winning actor Maurice Benard and lifestyle expert and fashion consultant Lawrence Zarian. They’ll be speaking about their lives and the challenges they’ve overcome. Lunch is included and the event ends with music, dancing and champagne.

Boubari will next focus on the release of her book “The Powerful She,” promoted as stories of 18 women of Love – Grace – Courage. The authors will be at the premier at The 3E Event at the Embassy Suites on Sept. 30.
