The Kiwanis Club of La Cañada La Crescenta – AM awarded $13,000 in scholarships to 14 students during its annual scholarship awards program, recognizing outstanding young leaders for their commitment to community service, leadership and extracurricular involvement.

Scholarships were presented across several categories, including community service, Girl Scout Gold Award, Hillside School and Scouting America Eagle Scout.  These honors celebrate students who have made meaningful contributions to their schools and communities while maintaining academic goals.

In addition, the Johnson Trade School Scholarship, funded through a donation from a longtime Kiwanis Club member, was awarded to a student pursuing career training at an accredited trade school, reinforcing the Club’s commitment to supporting diverse educational pathways.

Scholarship recipients attended the annual awards dinner accompanied by their parent(s) and Kiwanis members. During the program, each student shared their college plans and future goals before receiving a certificate and scholarship award.

“We are proud to support these exceptional students as they take the next step toward their futures,” said a Kiwanis Club representative. “Their commitment to service and leadership reflects the values our Club promotes, and we are confident they will continue to make a positive impact in their communities.”
