May 10

700 block of Angeles Crest Highway, Angeles National Forest a person reported parking near the area of Switzer Falls Trail. He and his friends secured his vehicle and then went for a hike. When they returned they found the passenger side window had been shattered. They noticed a grey towel had been placed over the broken glass. They also discovered several personal items were stolen, including wallets and a cellphone. 

The vehicle burglary occurred between 1:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

900 block of Town Center Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, deputies responded to the location concerning a theft. When they arrived an employee told them that three suspects entered the store, picked up several items, placed them in a black tote bag and left the store without attempting to pay. Suspect No. 1 was known to the employee from a previous theft incident. The suspect was described as a male Hispanic, about 18 years old, 5’5” tall and weighing about 130 lbs. Suspect No. 2 was described as a male Hispanic, about 18 years old, 5’6” tall and 120 lbs. Suspect No. 3 was described as a White female, about 18 years old, 5’6” tall and weighing about 120 lbs. 

The theft occurred at 6:19 p.m.

May 9

Big Tujunga Canyon Road and West Trail Canyon Road in Angeles National Forest, a person reported that he had driven to the location, locked his vehicle and went for a hike. When he returned he noticed the vehicle’s driver door locking mechanism had been damaged. He then discovered his wallet, with personal information and credit cards, was stolen. He checked his online banking and found that a purchase was attempted on one of this credit cards; it was declined. 

The vehicle burglary occurred between 3:15 p.m. and 4 p.m. 

May 8

2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, an employee of a store at the location reported that a man, described as a Black adult wearing a blue hoodie and blue shorts, entered the store. The employee reported observing the suspect load a bag full of alcoholic beverages and meat products. He then exited the store without attempting to pay for the items. He fled in a black 2025 Nissan Altima. 

The theft occurred at 5:25 p.m.
