Sunshine Canyon Landfill in Granada Hills

A small 20’ by 20’ brush fire is burning near Sunshine Canyon Landfill near the 5 freeway and 14 highway interchange west of San Fernando Road. Aerial water drops and ground crews are, as of 2:30 p.m., fighting the fire.

Sepulveda Basin Fire

A brush fire in the 5600 block of Woodley Avenue in the Sepulveda Basin  was reported at 4:03 p.m. LAFD is currently battling this fire near the 405 freeway.
