May is Stroke Awareness Month

Over 75 people attended the May 10 Stroke Awareness Seminar at the USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. Matt Tenser, MD, a vascular neurologist and neurointerventionalist at Keck Medicine of USC, spoke about the risks, warning signs and treatment of stroke. Free carotid artery and blood pressure screenings were also administered to participants.
