Planning to make wishes come true

“A goal without a plan is just a wish.” — Larry Elder

Is one of your goals to clean out the garage and get rid of old televisions or computers that are taking up space? Our wish is that you bring them on Saturday, Jan.15 to our free e-waste recycling event. It is the best place for you to dispose of those old items that were replaced by the new Christmas presents you got. It’s also a great way to make space in your garage to maybe park your car instead of storing old e-waste you have gathering dust. Bring your PCs, CPUs, televisions, CRT monitors, printers, fax machines, copiers, or most other electronics to the CV Chamber office parking lot for e-recycling. Call the chamber if you have a question about what electronics they will take. Phat Energy, the CV Chamber and Global e-Recyclers, Inc. is organizing this event that will take place at the chamber office parking lot at Palms Plaza, 3131 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta on Saturday, Jan. 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Global e-Recyclers, Inc. will make sure your e-waste is properly handled, disposed of and recycled. They also include identity theft protection via data destruction of your hard drives and the best part of it is the fact that you are helping the environment and putting less in the landfills!

Phat Energy is the sponsor of our free e-waste recycling event. They are more than a solar company; they are a new energy company. Are you facing increasing challenges with the current energy infrastructure at your home or business? The team at Phat Energy is motivated to make a difference in your life. They can model whether solar makes financial logic for you and whether it has practical advantages in your case. They can also show you stand-alone energy structures with architectural significance, like a PHATport. They can show you how to setup an income stream by building a network of electric vehicle charging stations. Their objective is to make renewable energy options and recommendations available to you in ways that are sensible, practical and creative. Renewable power can change your world; Phat Energy wants to help you optimize it. Philippe Hartley, the general manager, has a 25-year background of managing new technology companies in emerging industries, including the telecommunication and distribution industries. He holds a California B general contractor and C-10 electrical contractor’s license and is the responsible managing officer for the company.

Come by the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce with your e-waste on Saturday, Jan. 15, and meet with Phat Energy representatives about how they can make a difference in your life or you can call Phat Energy toll free at (866) 797-PHAT (7428).
