Get in Shape for 2014 – Ribbon Cutting at Back to Basics Fitness and Dance Studio

A new year means a new you! So why not try Back to Basics Fitness and Dance Studio? After our ribbon cutting on Jan. 2 at 5:30 p.m., you can jump right into the new year at their first U-JAM class. The class is free so there are no excuses. In fact, their classes will be free for the entire weekend to give you a chance to try them out. You can log onto their website at www.b2bfit.org to see a list of classes and to sign up. B2B is a basic fitness and dance studio. They believe in functional training and basic exercise as your foundation to give you a safe routine customized for your fitness level. Owners Gail and Arturo Medina have so much to offer at their fitness and dance studio that you are sure to find something to meet your needs. Check out this list: Zumba, Zumba for Kids, Kids Jr. Boot Camp, TRX, Salsa Hip Hop with Creator Cuba Swift!, Tabata, Kids Hip Hop Dance, Adult Hip Hop Dance, Dance Fit, Strength Training, U-JAM! (The New Fitness Craze), Circuit Training, Kettlebells, Body Blast, Bollywood, Kids Ballet/JazzCardio and Cross X.

Gail and Arturo have been life-long fitness enthusiasts. Gail has danced her entire life. She attended the top performing arts school SCPA as well as the California Ballet School, and has been a choreographer for the San Diego Old Globe Theater. Arturo is a certified personal trainer who competed in local body building competitions, had a boxing career and competed against many professionals in these industries. Both have had extensive experience in the television industry as well. I think you are in good hands with them! But that is not all. When you train, exercise or take classes with B2BFit, you’re not only helping to change your own life, but the lives of others. B2B works hard to bring you the best of what they do to make a difference in your life and contributes a portion of their proceeds to organizations that make a difference in the lives of others. They give to charity and to our local schools!

“We are proud supporters of the Abigail Barraza Foundation for Breast Cancer and the Wounded Warrior Project. We are currently working with Wilson Middle School to help raise money to upkeep and purchase equipment for the P.E. department’s weight room and new fitness center including heart rate monitors,” Gail said.

They also offer master classes every month including dancers, celebrity choreographers and master instructors who have worked with such artists as Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, LL Cool J and more! For more information, log onto b2bfit.org.

Remember, from Jan. 2 until Jan. 5, all the classes are free! So sign up today.
