What a Grand Parade!
Last Saturday leaders of the Montrose Shopping Park thoroughly enjoyed the pleasure of riding in the 38th Annual Montrose Glendale Christmas Parade. The excitement level was high as we met together at Cucina Rustica to share a delicious spread of antipasti, grilled salmon, pasta, meatballs and gourmet Italian cookies. We mingled with local politicians and city leaders who, like us, look forward to this Christmas tradition in Montrose. I always enjoy experiencing the thrill of first time riders like Connor Grayson and his mom who accompanied Ken. They were joined by Andre and family, GiGi & daughter, The Kellys, and Dale, riding together in our signature horse drawn wagon.
Thanks for Shopping Montrose!
This year I enjoyed being invited to ride with Glendale City Clerk Ardy Kassakhian in George’s vintage Mustang. We promoted the “Shop Local, Shop Montrose!” message with festive signs designed for us by Copy Network. This call to action, more than ever, was well received by the crowds as we got much clapping, hoots, and cheers of encouragement. What a blessing to be on the receiving end of such confirmation. It was truly a joyous night!
It’s Old Town Christmas in Montrose!
Each December day leading up to Christmas is a day to be savored. Leave the overcrowded malls and long lines behind and spend the holidays shopping & dining in charming, old town Montrose. Each weekend you will enjoy free horse drawn trolley and pony rides, live Christmas music, and Santa strolling our streets. The evenings bring our trees wrapped in thousands of white lights and a “foodies’” delight of restaurants and cafés. Truly a small town Christmas experience.
