CV CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

Chamber Fun Just Before Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time of the year, a time when we should stop and take stock of those things we do that give joy to others and assess what brings us joy.

At the CV Chamber of Commerce, before enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday and the joy it brings, we invite you to several events that will bring joy to your life.

On Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., CV Weekly is hosting a mixer at the historic St. Luke’s of the Mountains, 2563 Foothill Blvd. (at the corner of Rosemont) in La Crescenta. Our mixers are a great opportunity to meet with other local business owners and learn what they do while sharing what it is you do. It is also a great way for our resident members to discover businesses in the area they want to support. Truly a win-win for everyone. It’s only $15 for members to attend the mixer, $20 for non-members. However those who sign up for membership that night will gain entry at no cost. Such a deal!

Tuesday night also gives our members the chance to vote on the 2024-25 slate of officers. With the changes currently going on within the Chamber this vote is of the utmost importance. Members are invited to stop by St. Luke’s of the Mountains on Tuesday evening to cast their ballot; plan to stay afterward to enjoy the mixer!

Congratulations to our newest member – and mixer host – KNA x Clawssy at 3156 Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta. The owners held a mixer and ribbon cutting in October that included vendors, dignitaries, music and a taco cart! This salon is a nearby refuge for ladies ready to be pampered. The following Saturday, Nov. 18 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Chamber is hosting a rummage sale at St. Luke’s of the Mountains. A variety of items will be available for purchase and Prom Plus will even have a barbecue featuring products donated by Glendale Area Schools Credit Union and the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce.

The CV Chamber needs the support of the community and looks forward to seeing its members on Nov. 14 and everyone at the rummage sale on Nov. 18.
