SCORE to bring shredder to Expo

The joint sponsors of the 10th Annual Foothills Community Expo on Sept. 8 announce the return of a popular community service. SCORE, Counselors to America’s Small Businesses, will bring a mobile shredding truck to the Community Expo. Residents and businesses can bring no longer needed documents (up to seven boxes per attendee) to be shredded at no charge.
Unneeded personal and business documents should be shredded to prevent them from falling into the hands of those that may do you harm. Some documents should be retained, but many can be destroyed after five years. For more information visit www.businessarchives.com/document-retention-requirements.asp.
The SCORE/RSI shred truck will be in the Physicians Parking Lot at Verdugo Hills Hospital during the Community Expo from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8.
Verdugo Hills Hospital is located at 1812 Verdugo Blvd. at the Glendale/Montrose/La Cañada junction.
For more information contact Pat Anderson, LCF Chamber of Commerce, at (818) 790-4289 or Dick Mader of SCORE at (818) 395-7073.
