NEWS FROM THE MONTROSE-VERDUGO CITY CHAMBER

Celebrating Summer in Montrose

June was a wonderful month of connection, celebration and learning here in Montrose. Thank you to everyone who joined us for our ribbon cuttings celebrating Sabrina’s Pizzeria Napoletana and Perlas Ice Cream Shop, our Candlelight & Cabernet Mixer at The Seasoned Table, and our Dinner & Discover workshop! We’re also incredibly grateful to our event hosts, speakers and community partners who helped make these gatherings possible. Bringing people together, welcoming new faces and uplifting our amazing small businesses is at the heart of what we do and we love seeing our community come together.

One of the recent ribbon cuttings was for Perlas Ice Cream Shop.

As we settle into summer, there are still plenty of ways to support local. Be sure to check out the Montrose Shopping Park Association’s Sammy the Soccer Ball Scavenger Hunt; several of our Chamber members are participating! It’s a fun way to explore the shopping district, discover new businesses and experience everything Montrose has to offer with family and friends.

As summer continues, we’re also busy preparing for one of Montrose’s favorite traditions. The 47th Annual Montrose Oktoberfest, proudly supported by Babaians Law Firm, returns on Saturday, Oct. 3 from noon to 10 p.m.! With carnival rides and games, delicious food, cold beerandwine, free contests, kids’ activities and live entertainment lining Honolulu Avenue, Oktoberfest is a celebration of community that brings neighbors and visitors together year after year.

Thank you for your continued support of the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce and the businesses that make our community thrive. We hope you’ll enjoy the rest of your summer, shop local whenever you can and join us as we continue celebrating everything that makes Montrose such a special place to live, work and gather.
