Our annual student scholarship program for eligible high school seniors and the April 8 scholarship fundraising event at Alissa’s Ocean View Bar & Grill enabled our Chamber to award 11 student scholarships to a very deserving group of high school seniors. We are sincerely grateful for the generous support we received from Alissa and Eric Hwang and the numerous community members who funded this year’s scholarship program. Congratulations to our 11 student recipients!

The Chamber has slightly modified our “Save the Date” events scheduled for the remainder of the year. Our Vendor Silent Auction, originally scheduled for May 6, has been re-scheduled to Thursday, June 10. Items will be announced and displayed on our Chamber website as we approach the auction date.

Our year’s biggest event, the Hometown Country Fair, complete with vendors, live music, food, games, activities for the kids and a classic car show, returns on Saturday, Sept. 18. We are back with more excitement and fun for the entire family.
