This is an annual holiday tradition for the Miller family; we hope you have as much fun as with it as we do!
And yes … these all exist in the neighborhoods throughout the Crescenta Valley!
The rules are simple. Score one point per item found, unless noted. A house can only be “used” once to check off one item on the list. (For example, if a house has a Grinch, R2D2 and a Nutcracker, only one item can be checked off the scavenger list.)
Now all that is needed is to decide which way to take on the hunt!
A leisurely drive with every one working off the same list or a fun friendly family competition with front seat vs. back seat or boys vs. girls, kids vs. parents, etc. or the Miller family favorite: going out with good friends and do a winner takes all competition. Each person in the car gets a list, first person to find all picks the dessert place to go to after.
Thanks to Rachelle Miller and the Miller family for sharing their holiday tradition!
