Dignity Health Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center Hospital vice president of Professional and Support Services Ann Lee, FACHE received the 2014 Healthcare Advocate Award from the National Diversity Council.

The award recognizes individuals of color who have made a difference in the diversity and inclusion realm through their achievements and exemplify the ability to excel in the healthcare world. Criteria include creating or spearheading innovative diversity initiatives that establish and foster a more inclusive working environment; retains a commendable reputation among colleagues, superiors and patients; and demonstrates a commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional excellence.

Lee was formally recognized at the Inaugural California Healthcare Diversity Summit on Nov. 5 at City of Hope in Duarte.
