The CVHS Charismatics sang for the crowd.

The annual Prom Plus Holiday Boutique was held on Nov. 9 at CV Park. Sponsored by Supervisor Kathryn Barger with support by Bonner’s Equipment Rentals and Gelsinger Meats, the event featured over two-dozen vendors offering a variety of items for sale. Whether shoppers were looking for unique comic books or one-of-a-kind jewelry or scented candles, the boutique had it all.

For the first time in its history, grilled hot dogs were sold on-site, enticing visitors from the nearby dog park or those playing on the baseball field to come over and grab a bite to eat … and shop.

Marta Wiggins, right, had some help with showing off her unique cards and photos for sale.

Another popular offering was the bake sale that featured homemade goodies made and donated by Prom Plus supporters. The a capella group Monday@JoJos started off the day and the Crescenta Valley High School Charismatics sang Christmas carols decked out in holiday garb.

The next event hosted by Prom Plus is its annual Leap Year Bingo game tentatively scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 29.
