On Oct. 13 more than 200 families attended the 20th Anniversary NICU Reunion at Dignity Health – Glendale Memorial Hospital.

When it is determined a newborn needs the extra special care provided in a NICU, being a parent can become more stressful. At GMHHC, nearly 15% of all babies born spend some time in the NICU. Parents are encouraged to take part in their baby’s care, while having the support of NICU nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and social workers.
