Bourdon Named to GAMC Foundation Board

Irene Bourdon, whose experience in hospital leadership ranges from philanthropy and strategic development to corporate communications and marketing, is the new president of Glendale Adventist’s Healthcare Foundation.

In this role, Bourdon will be responsible for all the philanthropic development programs that support Glendale Adventist Medical Center. In addition, she will be actively involved in the community and its various service clubs and organizations.

For the past 18 years, Bourdon held several executive positions with Citrus Valley Health Partners (CVHP), a health system comprised of three hospital campuses and a hospice in the east San Gabriel Valley. Her most recent position was CEO and senior vice president of philanthropy.

“I feel privileged to join such an outstanding organization,” said Bourdon. “The culture of excellence and service is evident everywhere. I look forward to working with all members of the Glendale Adventist Medical Center family to further the hospital’s mission.”

Bourdon’s involvement in community organizations is extensive, including serving on the Public Affairs Committee of the Hospital Association of Southern California. She and her husband Glen are parents of a grown son, Jeff.
