GAR Services will hold its 17th annual bowl-a-thon at Pickwick Lanes in Burbank on Nov. 3. Funds raised will help GAR Services to continue to provide quality programs and services to its clients. This year, all participants and their guests will receive a commemorative event T-shirt. The 24 participating bowling teams will compete for first, second and third place trophies.  Bringing their bowling talent to each team will be a GAR services client, some of whom compete in the Special Olympics bowling tournament which is recognized as one of the top teams in California.

The day will include a buffet lunch, door prizes and bowling tournament. Teams of four bowlers are $125 each; client sponsorship is $35 each. The GAR bowl-a-thon is a sold out event every year and team spaces fill fast and will be assigned lanes on a first-come, first-served basis.      Deadline for team registration and client sponsorship is Oct 25.
