JLP Announces Board of Directors

The Junior League of Pasadena, Inc. (JLP) announced the new team of women leading the 91-year-old leadership and training organization.

The 2017-18 JLP board of directors includes:

President Amy Onderdonk, President Elect Charlotte Miles, Community Director Allison Daniels, Operations Director Sara Hatch, Fundraising Director Catie Roheim, Membership Director Emily Loiacano, Finance Director Kathryn Enright, Sustaining Member Director Kerry Slater, Sustaining Member Advisor Dana Jones, Sustaining Member Advisor Katrina Onderdonk and Recorder Katy Allamong.

The JLP board of directors and team of council chairwomen were inducted in June and over the summer held many activities that focused on engaging the community, recruiting new members and preparing for the upcoming year.

One of the most exciting events of the summer occurred on Monday, Aug. 28 when the JLP celebrated with an official ribbon cutting at its headquarters its rejoining the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and Civic Association. The Chamber’s purpose is “supporting the prosperity of our members” and enhancing “quality of life in Pasadena.” The JLP issued a statement that “rejoining this Association enhances the JLP’s ability to fulfill our mission of bettering our community.”

At the ceremony, the JLP was recognized for its 91 years of service and its ongoing commitment to Pasadena.
