Pasadena Society of Artists Presents its 2023 Artists’ Choice Exhibition at Whites Fine Art Gallery in Montrose

PSA’s 2023 Artists’ Choice Exhibition presents 74 artworks created by 42 artists. The exhibition opens Friday, Sept. 1 and closes Sept. 30 at Whites Fine Art, 2414 Honolulu Ave. in Montrose. The artists’ reception is Saturday, Sept. 2 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Gallery hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Holgerson, Marvin Jackson, Jeffry Jensen, Nora Koerber, Joanna Kos, Tommy Lei, Warner LeMénager, Rosina Maize, Janet Manalo, Chris Moore, Albert Natian, Victor Picou, Rebecca H. Pollack, Rhonda Raulston, George Repetti, Jean Richardson, S.A. Smith, Robert Michael Sullivan, Kathleen Swaydan, Barbara Thorn, Tsvetelina Valkov, Ken Weintrub, Sean Yang and Carolyn Young.

Media includes oils, acrylics, etching, aquatint, monoprint, ceramics, fabric collage, graphite, colored pencil, photography, mixed media and ink.

The show will open concurrently online at www.ISSUU.com and will remain viewable after the gallery show closes.

Founded in 1925, the Pasadena Society of Artists is one of the area’s original professional artist groups. The Society is noted for its vigorous, active membership, wide diversity of artistic statement, and high professional standards. Membership is by juried submission.

PSA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to present the works of its many talented and creative artists to the community of Pasadena and surrounding areas. Combining an active tradition of community participation and partnering with local community arts organizations, as well as philanthropic, humanitarian, and educational institutions, PSA endeavors to enhance public awareness of art and the enriching qualities it brings to our lives.
