Bucknell University has released the dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2020-21 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition.

Andrew Kim, class of 2023, from La Cañada Flintridge has achieved dean’s list status for spring 2021.

Located in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, Bucknell University is a highly selective private liberal arts university that offers majors in the arts, engineering, humanities, management, and social and natural sciences, along with broad opportunities outside of class, to its 3,600 undergraduates. Graduate programs are available in select disciplines. Tessa Coffey, a senior student studying art, Runa M. Maeda, a junior studying speech communication and Marcelino E. Martinez, a senior studying kinesiology, have made the scholastic honor roll for spring 2021 at Oregon State University.

A total of 7,255 earned a B-plus (3.5) or better to make the listing. To be on the honor roll, students must carry at least 12 graded hours of course work.

Oregon State is one of only two universities in the nation designated as a land, sea, space and sun grant. More than 31,000 students come from across the globe, and Oregon State programs operate in every Oregon county.

Jane A Gallegos, who attends the College of Arts & Sciences, and Sean P Metz, who attends the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University, both from La Cañada, were among 4,700 Baylor University students named to the dean’s academic honor list for the spring 2021 semester.

The dean’s academic honor list recognizes Baylor undergraduates for their outstanding academic work during each semester. Students honored on the dean’s list earned a minimum semester grade-point average of 3.70 with no grade lower than a “C” while enrolled in at least 12 graded semester hours.

Glendale resident Gabriella Sofia Lopez, earned her BBA in marketing at Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business.
