Samara Cahill from La Cañada earned a Bachelor of Arts from Villanova University during a spring commencement ceremony held on May 20.

From La Cañada Flintridge, Douglas Drugan graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice; George Fleming graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing communication; Kenneth Hada graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration; Wesley Lewis graduated with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice; Elizabeth Miller graduatedwith a bachelor’s degree in psychology; Sarah Mock graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science.

James Krausse of La Crescenta graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

A total of 672 students were eligible to participate in the 49th Annual Undergraduate Commencement held May 12 in the university’s new William Rolland Stadium.

CLU is a selective university located in Thousand Oaks with centers in Oxnard and Woodland Hills for graduate courses and its adult degree evening program.

Daniel Goetz, son of Richard and Christine Goetz of La Cañada, has been named to the 2011-12 Lawrence University dean’s list for maintaining a minimum 3.4 grade point average.

Ellen Gruber of La Cañada Flintridge earned dean’s list honors at Saint Joseph’s University for the spring 2012 semester. Gruber is majoring in English at the university. Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above (a B or greater in all their classes) and complete at least 15 credits to earn dean’s list status for a semester.
