Cruise Night Found on Brand Boulevard

By Mary O’KEEFE

The 31st Annual Cruise Night along Brand Boulevard was a gathering of a lot of classic and exotic vehicles. Despite hot temperatures thousands of people came to Brand to look at the vehicles – some that reminded people of a time gone by, others of what the future could look like.

The variety of vehicles is something that draws people to this annual event in Glendale. From a Glendale Public Works’ Volvo tractor that kids could climb onto to a 1950 Meteor-Cadillac Statesman Landau funeral casket coach, there was something for everyone. There were also a number of booths where people, and kids, could get information on a variety of subjects, including from the Glendale Fire Dept. and Glendale Water & Power Dept.
