The Campbell Center will be the site of the Third Annual Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 26 starting with check in at 5:30 p.m. and the tournament at 7 p.m. This fundraiser debuted in early 2016 and quickly became a favorite of the organization’s supporters who helped raise close to $22,000 for the agency at its second annual event in the fall. This year the event will again feature a bountiful buffet as well as a cash bar. By popular demand, TCC clients will be on-site to greet guests as well as serve them at the buffet table.
“This event has now found its place on the list of must-attend happenings in the community, bringing out poker aficionados and amateurs alike for a great cause,” said Muhannad Malki, vice president at intouch Insurance Services and event committee co-chair.
“I know that my guests are looking forward to being part of the event, greeting some of the TCC clients and spending a fun evening in a spirit of friendly competition,” said Kim Guard, Express Professional Employment franchise owner and event committee co-chair. “Word of mouth has been great and we are confident that this year’s event will attract an even greater number of sponsors and players, all gathering to help make a difference by raising funds in support of The Campbell Center programs and services.”
Other members of the committee include realtor Jodi Deranja of John Aaroe Group, Westfield Hydraulics CEO Robert Schacht and Jack Darakjian, executive director of Modern Support Services.
