Former Brazilian professional soccer player Paulo Victor, founder of Ginga Soccer Academy, is bringing authentic Brazilian soccer development to Los Angeles County.

Developed through Brazil’s highly competitive youth academy system, Paulo Victor played for a first-division club in São Paulo and became a professional player at the age of 17. Today, he is dedicated to developing a select group of young athletes in Los Angeles with the same technical excellence, creativity, discipline and tactical intelligence that have made Brazilian soccer one of the most respected in the world.

As founder and head coach of Ginga Soccer Academy, Paulo Victor combines his experience as a professional player with education in physical training and sports nutrition. Throughout his career, he has built an international network within the soccer world with professional connections in both Brazil and Europe. He has visited clubs such as PSG (France), Arsenal (England), Benfica, and Sporting (Portugal), where he spent time alongside elite level coaches. In Brazil, he also spent time at Santos FC, the world-renowned club that developed legends such as Pelé, Neymar and Rodrygo. Among the players he has personally trained is the captain of Santos FC’s U-12 team.

“The right type of training is what makes you improve,” said Paulo Victor. “It’s about developing confident and intelligent players who understand and love the game and continue to improve every day.”

Ginga Soccer Academy specializes in individualized technical and physical development through private training sessions fully customized to each athlete’s needs and goals.

Among the results of his methodology, one of the athletes trained by Paulo Victor currently plays for one of LAFC’s U-11 teams and is being monitored by Brazilian soccer clubs – a reflection of the level of development his program provides.

Training is available by appointment throughout the Los Angeles area, including La Crescenta, Glendale and La Cañada Flintridge, bringing an elite Brazilian-style training standard to families who expect nothing less than excellence for their children in soccer.
