Oregon State University graduated more than 7,300 students during ceremonies on Saturday, June 11 at Reser Stadium on the Corvallis campus and Sunday, June 12 at the OSU-Cascades campus in Bend.
Over 7,574 degrees were presented with 250 students receiving two degrees and three who received three degrees.

University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Letters and Science students Megan Gmelich, from La Caañda Flintridge, and Eliza Sullivan, from Glendale, were named to the dean’s list for the spring semester of the 2021-22 academic year.
To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester. Each university school or college sets its own GPA requirements for students to be eligible to receive the distinction.

Jared Nishimura of La Cañada, who is majoring in electrical & computer engineering at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas, was named to the spring 2022 president’s list. The president’s list recognizes students who have achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the semester to receive this honor.

Julia Cha of La Cañada graduated from Colorado College with a Bachelor of Arts in organismal biology and ecology.
Colorado College awarded 500 Bachelor of Arts degrees and 13 Master of Arts in teaching. The ceremony marked CC’s 148th academic year.
Colorado College was founded in Colorado Springs in 1874. In 1970 the college created the Block Plan, in which its approximately 2,300 undergraduate students take one class at a time in intensive three-week segments. A master of arts in teaching degree also is offered.

Diana Curtis Kim of Glendale was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College on May 22. Kim majored in environmental studies. She also earned dean’s high honors.
